These 12 Tufted Duck chicks spent parts of their day resting and grooming on this very large leaf (Gunnera tinctoria... commonly known as Giant Rhubarb).
Their mother was always close by keeping an eye out for anything that might bring harm to her babies. Startled! the little ducklings quickly got back on the water and to their mothers side.
